One in every five Americans experiences a mental health/emotional/stress related problems and these problems affect regardless of age, gender, faith, economic status or ethnicity. This means nearly every fifth Christian in the pews has been touched in some way by mental health problems. A significant number of Christians continue to suffer in silence or stop coming to the church because they are not receiving the support they so desperately need. They become detached from the church and their spirituality, which is an important source of healing, wholeness and hope in times of difficulty.
We are conducting an online survey to identify the perceived needs for Christian counseling in Boston area. We appreciate your responses to the questions. Your answers are very important! Answer all the questions as honestly and accurately as you can. It may take approximately 10 minutes to complete this survey. Answering this questionnaire is completely voluntary.
We have a mission to help meet the Christian counseling needs of urban Churches and the underserved of Boston, and we ask for your help. Abundant Life Counseling Center has created an online survey to assess the perceived counseling needs of the Christian community of the Boston area. It should only take about five minutes to complete. We invite Boston area pastors and church leaders to complete the survey by clicking the link and answering some straightforward questions about your view of counseling needs and issues in your church community.
The results of this survey will be used to: 1) Help ALCC strategically focus its re-launch effort, and, 2) Provide information to churches, ministries, and agencies about the perceived counseling needs of Boston area churches. If you complete this survey, we will tell you more about ALCC’s plans to provide a dinner for all who participate in the survey and are willing to come hear the survey results.
With Sincere Thanks,
The ALCC Board of Directors
